Responsibilities
- Conceive, budget, plan, implement, and document logistics concepts, considering internal and external conditions throughout the entire project lifecycle from acquisition to completion.
- Coordinate relevant tasks and activities with all stakeholders, including project teams, production plants, and external partners like customers and suppliers.
- Support ongoing series production, including evaluating product and process changes on existing logistics processes and implementing them after approval; identify and realize rationalization potential in collaboration with project teams and production plants.
- Determine logistics costs (inbound, in-plant, and outbound) based on defined processes.
- Assist in acquiring new orders by reviewing inquiry documents and creating competitive logistics concepts.
- Participate in simultaneous engineering for logistics-friendly product design.
- Analyze and optimize supply chains to ensure cost, time, and quality targets.
- Collaborate closely with international partners to harmonize global logistics standards and processes.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience (> 4 years) in logistics purchasing or project logistics; experience in the eBike environment would be a great advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and ideally SAP.
- Very good German (C1) and English (B2) language skills, both written and spoken.
