About the Role
Argus Search is a specialized HR and Finance recruitment consultancy connecting top talent with leading companies in Berlin. We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the role of Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Independent financial accounting for multiple companies, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payment transactions.
- Establish an internal accounting department, replacing the external service provider and migrating data and processes into a well-structured environment.
- Consolidation across all units, including intercompany reconciliation, ongoing alignment, and a uniform chart of accounts.
- Integration of upstream systems, standardized and audit-proof processes from procurement to payment, and sustainable automation of recurring tasks.
- Responsibility for reporting and collaboration with external consultants, ensuring timely figures, early risk warnings, and smooth closings and audits.
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in economics, business administration, or a comparable qualification with a focus on accounting/finance.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting and/or controlling.
- Proficient user skills in common MS Office programs, especially Excel, along with general IT affinity and a willingness for digital development.
- Analytical and structured way of working with a high affinity for numbers and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, responsible, and a reliable, meticulous work ethic.
- Fluent English skills; German language skills are an advantage.
