About the Role
CACI is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure systems and networks. You will collaborate with development and IT teams to integrate security best practices, mitigate vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols to protect systems and data across diverse environments.
- Provide security-focused insights and technical support for network and infrastructure architecture.
- Research and implement the latest security technologies and practices to address emerging threats.
- Evaluate overall security architecture and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Convey comprehensive security solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Provide Assessment & Authorization (A&A) support and technical guidance throughout the system authorization process and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Coordinate with ISSOs to resolve failed security controls and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
- Security+ certification.
- Linux+ or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification.
- Ability to perform at Information Assurance Technical Level II per DoD 8140 guidelines.
