About the Role

This position supports the execution of multiple marketing programs, advertising campaigns, and sales initiatives across the company’s three operating states. The marketing specialist will ensure consistency with business branding and objectives, and execute projects based on Eversource principles. This role requires close integration with key internal customers, business and sales management, and the marketing outreach and communications team. The specialist must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and function as both a team player and individual contributor.

Responsibilities

Assists in handling key marketing functions, processes, and programs related to achieving goals.
Collaborates with members of the marketing team on the execution of marketing plans and campaigns.
Analyzes research and measurement of campaigns and programs, communicates results, and recommends improvements and/or adjustments.
Coordinates with internal and external copywriters, graphic designers, photographers, and other vendors.
Oversees, with the manager’s guidance, the creation of the department’s collateral, press releases, and case studies.
Assists in the planning and execution of events, conferences, and sponsorships.
Participates in a continuous improvement team to facilitate departmental workflow processes.
Performs additional duties as assigned by business needs.
Travels approximately 10% of the time.

Requirements

Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
Work is primarily performed in an office environment requiring a combination of personal computer and telephone work.
This position is categorized as safety-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing.
Successful applicants shall be subject to a pre-assignment drug test if the individual is currently in a non-safety sensitive position.
The individual shall be subject to random drug testing.
Work includes managing multiple priorities with often fast turnaround times and changing budgets.
Requires varied skill sets, including vendor management, customer service, financial analysis, database operation, and marketing.
