About the Role

Lead the Product & Application teams for Heat Transfer technologies within the Food and Pharma Division in Northern Europe, interacting with customers and sales channels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team of technical and technological experts.
  • Develop, monitor, and continuously improve applicable work processes and quality standards for the department, especially in the quotation process for Heat Transfer equipment and solutions.
  • Manage and develop IS1 functions and evolve the team for better specialization.
  • Develop, motivate, and coach the team to secure development of relevant product/application competencies.
  • Identify product gaps and propose solutions to central Food & Pharma Division product portfolio managers.
  • Propose necessary trainings at the sales company level.
  • Interface with product centers and central business units.
  • Act as a playing coach supporting customers and sales channels with product and application technical competence.
  • Develop and secure product & application competencies in sales companies, including competitive designs.
  • Be responsible for the P&A training process.

Requirements

  • A technical engineering background in combination with managerial experience within B2B technical sales support.
  • Experience with remote management is an advantage.
  • Good level of communication skills in English is a pre-requisite.
  • Knowledge of equipment relevant to the food industry, especially related to Heat Exchangers in a technical and commercial environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to empower others by providing clarity, resources, and support.
  • Strong networking and influencing abilities.
  • Agility and confidence in situations with unknown elements and ambiguity.
  • Right to work in the UK.
