About the Role

Join Cancer Research UK as a Face to Face Fundraiser and inspire the public to become regular financial supporters. This role is crucial in raising approximately £10 million annually for the charity, contributing to their mission to beat cancer and achieve 3 in 4 survival by 2034. It offers a chance to develop communication skills, boost confidence, and make a significant difference.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with the public at stands in shopping centres and inspire regular donations via Direct Debit.
  • Work as part of a team of fundraising experts.
  • Share engaging and inspiring stories regarding Cancer Research UK progress and goals.
  • Be responsible for setting up your stand and working environment in private site venues.
  • Represent CRUK with the highest level of professionalism, treating the public fairly and with respect.

Requirements

  • Must be available for a recruitment day at the head office in Stratford E20 1JQ on Wednesday 5th August 10:00 - 15:00.
  • Must be available for an interview.
  • CVs are required for all applications.
  • Must complete the work history section of the online application form.
  • Offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory basic DBS check.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to believe in and embody the organisation values.
  • Must be able to use organisation values to drive forward progress against the mission to beat cancer.
