Responsibilities
- Provide professional information, presentations, and marketing of relevant AbbVie products to outpatient specialists and hospital physicians, adhering to Section 75 of the German Drug Act (AMG) regarding the duties of pharmaceutical representatives.
- Deliver target-group-oriented presentations and marketing of products in line with the defined brand strategy, utilizing a broad omnichannel approach for the marketing mix.
- Conceptualize, organize, and conduct training events, and participate in regional and national events.
- Continuously analyze market data to track sales performance of own products and competitors, identify potential and critical developments, and derive strategic activities for targeting and account planning.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement an area plan within the infield team.
- Gather market information and customer insights, and determine customer positions within the sales cycle.
- Maintain regular communication with your regional manager, colleagues, and other cross-functional departments, fostering continuous exchange of experience and ideas.
- Proactively and consistently advocate for customer needs.
- Share responsibility for achieving regional goals.
- Perform professional reporting and timely completion of all administrative tasks.
- Comply with all applicable job requirements, legal, and regulatory obligations, including procedures and processes for ethics and compliance, and the Code of Business Conduct.
Requirements
- Successfully completed a science-based university degree, pharmaceutical representative training, or possess the required expertise according to §75 of the German Drug Act.
- Previous successful field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for the job and a passion for continuous development are highly valued.
- Ability to present complex scientific information to diverse audiences and engage in discussions with various customer groups.
- High persuasive power, a results-oriented personality with strong communication skills.
- High level of agility and motivation to pursue and achieve goals.
- Strong digital competence and analytical skills combined with creativity.
- Pioneering spirit and a strong drive for success, including personal development within the company.
- Flexibility, commitment, and team spirit.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Enthusiasm, empathy, and enjoyment of sales.
