About the Role

Fundbox is seeking a talented Product Manager to drive the launch of products and features that will directly impact the company's growth and success. This role offers passionate product managers a chance to tackle interesting product challenges and deliver substantial business value.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end roadmap for partner launches, building embedded capital products from 0 to 1 and scaling them across partner ecosystems.
  • Define and drive the product experience across the full stack – UX, underwriting, operations, marketing, and compliance – to ensure solutions are both customer-centric and institution-ready.
  • Lead analytical deep dives to size opportunities, build business cases for new features and partnerships, and recommend clear go / no-go decisions.
  • Act as a solutions architect with external partners, confidently representing both the credit and product dimensions of Fundbox’s offerings in executive-level conversations.
  • Partner closely with engineering, data, marketing, credit, and legal/compliance teams to align on goals, remove blockers, and deliver high-quality launches on time.
  • Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence to identify new product opportunities and understand market trends.
  • Serve as the voice of both customers and partners in product decisions, ensuring Fundbox solutions create value for small businesses while meeting partner objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of product management or adjacent product-building experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, or a highly analytical product area.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating on complex cross-functional initiatives with engineering, data science, marketing, and compliance teams.
  • Endless curiosity for solving complex problems, ramping up quickly in new domains, and continuously improving how you and your team work.
  • Deep passion for using data to drive decisions, including comfort pulling and joining large datasets with SQL and performing analysis in tools such as Python and Tableau.
  • Fluency with modern AI-assisted and prototyping tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT, Figma, or similar) to accelerate exploration, analysis, prototyping, and day-to-day execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting insights and recommendations succinctly to senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, ruthlessly prioritize, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
