About the Role

This role is an opportunity to join the MI, Forecasting & External Performance team, acting as a strategic financial advisor to the business. You will support the assessment of strategy, gaining broad exposure to Management Information (MI), forecasts, and performance analysis. The position requires using technical knowledge and commercial acumen to produce clear, high-quality financial insights that explain key performance drivers, highlight movements, and support senior decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Play a leading role in the production of high quality monthly and quarterly MI packs, dashboards and performance reports for senior finance and group stakeholders.
  • Deliver clear, insightful analysis and commentary on MI and forecast results, translating financial performance into key drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Work with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to ensure submissions are complete, accurate and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Champion continuous improvement across MI and forecasting processes, including opportunities to simplify outputs and improve the quality of insight.
  • Build strong working relationships across the business and continue to develop understanding of financial performance and commercial drivers.

Requirements

  • Qualified actuary or accountant with the ability to connect technical outputs to commercial implications.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of key deliverables, challenge inputs and drive high-quality outputs.
  • Strong knowledge of key reporting metrics, including Solvency II, IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify key messages and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with confidence working across teams and presenting complex messages clearly.
  • Curiosity to understand what is driving performance and a willingness to challenge and improve existing processes.
  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, or a similar business partnering role, would be an advantage.
