About the Role
The Design Director will lead the vision for the ServiceNow brand, scaling the brand identity and driving a design-led vision across all global channels and touchpoints. This leadership role focuses on elevating design quality, fostering an inclusive culture, and partnering across the organization to influence leadership toward a collective future.
Responsibilities
- Drive the global brand identity for all products and services to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability.
- Lead a high-performing team to develop original brand systems, behaviors, and design solutions.
- Foster and grow brand design culture by enabling world-class design.
- Drive decision-making processes and workflows to improve performance and execution.
- Lead with vision to influence Marketing, Product, and Business leadership in developing holistic brand systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in design and building consumer brands globally.
- 7+ years of demonstrated people management experience.
- Experience leading with creative vision, purpose, and innovation.
- Experience driving brand solutions to business problems.
- Experience building portfolio brands and working with brand architecture.
- Experience across integrated design work including traditional, product, packaging, retail, and experiential.
- Experience recruiting talent and developing design careers.
- Experience managing internal teams, freelancers, and external agencies.
- Experience collaborating and driving consensus among cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Experience partnering with and influencing marketing leadership and executive stakeholders.
