About the Role
As an Application Manager SAP IS-U/CRM, you will ensure the smooth operation and availability of our German SAP IS-U/CRM systems, coordinating the deployment of enhancements into production systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability and stability of our complex SAP IS-U/CRM system landscape.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current issues and future requirements, deriving impacts on operations and SLAs.
- Integrate Solution Architects and infrastructure teams to technically develop our complex system landscape and protect against security risks.
- Coordinate the resolution of system operation errors and communicate transparently with business departments.
- Manage the functionality of SAP system transport management within a multi-level system landscape.
- Oversee the deployment and functionality of the Active Control transport tool, including necessary upgrades and adjustments.
- Support the detailed planning and execution of system and client copies within the SAP system landscape and lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma degree (IT, Business Informatics, or comparable) or completed vocational training with corresponding long-term professional experience.
- Good understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the increasing digitalization needs for energy supply companies.
- Good understanding of the operational control model of a central IT.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (CHM, RDM, PRB).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the technical functionality of SAP systems, especially transport management.
- Good knowledge of SAP Basis and technical parameters for performance analysis and troubleshooting.
- Interest in understanding the interplay and interactions between SAP systems and the surrounding IT landscape for holistic improvements.
- Willingness for occasional work outside normal working hours.
