About the Role
As a Production Planner, you will drive efficient, on-time production by creating smart schedules, coordinating materials, and ensuring smooth operations. You will work within the RF and microwave industry to support mission-critical electronics manufacturing in a people-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Review orders and edit build documentation to ensure successful product builds.
- Create and maintain work orders and purchase requisitions in ERP systems.
- Utilize dashboards for daily operational visibility.
- Develop short- and medium-term schedules and prioritize jobs by due date and revenue.
- Reallocate material and capacity as constraints emerge.
- Track lead times for internal machining, PCBA/test, and suppliers.
- Verify PO due dates and coordinate expedites with Purchasing and the Stockroom.
- Ensure kits are ready for build and Assembly has an appropriate schedule.
- Serve as an escalation point for late work orders and kit priorities.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with ERP production modules such as Global Shop.
- Proficiency in Excel-based scheduling and shortage tracking.
- Ability to communicate effectively across Programs, Engineering, Purchasing, Stockroom, Production, and Sales.
- Strong data-checking mindset and ability to improve router accuracy.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- May be subject to a government security investigation for security clearance.
- Must undergo an Export Compliance Assessment to verify U.S. person status.
