About the Role
This role involves building relationships with new restaurant partners in your area, improving our proposition for customers, and identifying ways to continue Deliveroo's fast growth. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and is comfortable traveling to different areas.
Responsibilities
- Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurants across your region.
- Become a city-level expert, including knowing up-and-coming restaurants and those customers crave most.
- Communicate with restaurants via physical visits, emails, calls, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
- Oversee the restaurant onboarding process to ensure it is quick, efficient, and seamless.
- Ensure restaurant success within the first eight weeks from signing.
- Sample food from a variety of high-quality establishments.
- Attend restaurant and food meetups.
Requirements
- Be comfortable with targeting new business and have sales experience.
- Be an experienced negotiator able to structure win-win deals for restaurants and Deliveroo.
- Be commercially knowledgeable and understand the economics of food delivery.
- Be able to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients.
- Take ownership and work within demanding targets.
- Have an interest in all things food and restaurants.
- Be tenacious and motivated.
- Possess a valid driving license and a car (preferred).
- Be comfortable traveling to different areas around Royal Tunbridge Wells & Sevenoaks, and surrounding areas.
- Be comfortable being out on the road.
