About the Role
The European Consumer Revenue team is responsible for driving direct-to-consumer (DTC) revenue for all Condé Nast brands, encompassing revenue streams such as newsstands, subscriptions, memberships, consumer products, and new DTC propositions.
Responsibilities
- Drive consumer revenue growth through acquisition, retention, and engagement marketing campaigns aligned with strategy.
- Plan and deliver full-funnel strategies across CRM channels.
- Collaborate with Digital and Partnerships Marketing Managers to plan and deliver cross-channel campaigns.
- Lead the customer marketing strategy and execution across magazine subscriptions, memberships, and e-commerce products for all brands.
- Define and deliver integrated marketing plans focused on customer journeys to drive acquisition, retention, and lifetime value KPIs.
- Build cross-functional relationships to develop creative, high-performing campaigns, collaborating with commercial, legal, and brand teams.
- Analyze and optimize activity through data-driven insights to deliver sustained growth.
- Identify new growth opportunities, including emerging channels, strategies, partnerships, and testing roadmaps.
- Plan campaigns to meet revenue and performance targets, reporting on marketing impact, learnings, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Help create and develop customer marketing strategy across owned, earned, and paid channels to drive growth for all consumer business areas.
- Strategically plan full-funnel campaigns to drive retention, repeat purchase, and cross-sell.
- Lead the execution of the customer marketing strategy across all channels, managing campaigns to meet KPI and revenue targets.
- Own end-to-end processes, including approvals and QA, adhering to set deadlines.
- Align strategies with Partnerships and Digital Marketing Managers to ensure cross-channel integration that maximizes impact.
- Support and elevate plans through strategic guidance and optimization, ensuring initiatives are prioritized according to business value and growth potential.
- Serve as the team’s customer marketing specialist, defining best-in-class strategies, managing channel performance, and continually optimizing performance to maximize ROI and LTV.
- Monitor and optimize KPIs and their influencing factors with Consumer Revenue analysts, using data to critique strategy and create test & learn plans.
- Present learnings and future plans to key stakeholders in a relevant manner.
- Work with the data intelligence team to ensure proper customer targeting and data setup for campaigns, utilizing the customer data platform.
- Develop marketing creative strategy with internal & external designers to ensure marketing assets are best-in-class for performance and complement brands.
- Forecast future performance and make informed recommendations on plan development based on performance, market trends, and new opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience running and optimizing campaigns through CRM.
- Experience leveraging a CDP to optimize campaigns.
- Proven track record of devising fully integrated marketing strategies to deliver both retention & purchase conversion objectives.
- Solid understanding of the full marketing mix, with experience integrating digital activity with CRM, partnerships, print media, and events.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to deal with a broad variety of tasks & prioritize workload effectively, including project management and coaching others.
- Ability to work collaboratively with excellent people skills; confident working with and aligning cross-functional teams.
- Highly analytical, utilizing data to uncover insights and opportunities, testing new approaches and continually improving marketing effectiveness.
- Expertise in data platforms and tools that drive improvements in attribution modeling, DMP integration, and overall analytics processes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to present well to stakeholders.
- Ability to work well under pressure, to prioritize workload, and to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail & focus on accuracy.
