About the Role
In the Private Bank division, Deutsche Bank bundles its expertise in private customer business, serving as a market leader in Germany with the Deutsche Bank and Postbank brands. This division encompasses the bank's business with wealthy clients globally, as well as with private customers and small to medium-sized enterprises. We offer high-quality financial services, from comprehensive offerings for private clients to support for demanding entrepreneurs and solutions for SMEs in key Eurozone markets. The Private Bank is one of the four divisions of Deutsche Bank Group, alongside the Corporate Bank, Investment Bank, and Asset Management (DWS).
Responsibilities
- Responsible for closing-oriented advice to clients managed within the team.
- Independently handle self-arranged appointments and those scheduled by the advisory and call centers.
- Focus on needs-based advice and sales of banking products (accounts, cards, building loans, deposits) and other relevant products for the Personal Banking target group (consumer finance, insurance, building loans).
- Optionally advise on simple investment needs.
- Responsible for the successful implementation of new service processes, particularly certification according to Service DIN, in branches.
- Possess personal credit authority for personal loans and IDD certification, possibly AnsFuG certification, while adhering to quality requirements in credit and insurance business.
- Identify customer needs using standardized advisory processes and successfully close deals or routinely refer them to specialists (especially for construction financing).
- Actively engage customers regarding digital services (e.g., online/mobile banking) and knowledgeably communicate the benefits of the bank's digital features.
- Continuously develop professional, sales, process, and digitalization expertise.
- Assist customers with transactions, service, and administrative tasks (e.g., by directing them to self-service terminals).
- Process all appointments from the advisory center and leverage interactions from branch business and advisory discussions to schedule follow-up appointments.
Requirements
- Completed training as a bank clerk or comparable qualification.
- Sales orientation and good knowledge of the private customer product range.
- Solid knowledge of products for basic needs.
- Skilled in appointment scheduling.
- Experienced in closing-oriented customer advisory.
- Confident and competent demeanor with customers.
- Good sales and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of digital features.
