About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our The North Face team based in Battersea, London. As an Assistant Store Manager, your input will be vital in supporting your Store Manager and contributing to your store's success. We believe our Assistant Store Managers have a great opportunity to develop their full potential with us, offering the support of a global organization while empowering individuals to take responsibility at the store level.
Responsibilities
- Driving sales and profitability in synergy with your Store Manager
- Motivating, mentoring, and coaching sales associates
- Assisting your Store Manager in implementing retail processes and identifying areas for improvement
- Managing core retail operational procedures such as inventory and P&L
- Reporting performance metrics and demonstrating understanding of KPIs to improve store results
- Ensuring the store maintains visual merchandising standards
- Providing cover in the store manager’s absence
Requirements
- Experience in opening and closing a store
- Experience helping to lead and motivate a team
- Experience leading from the front to maximize sales and boost productivity
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Proficiency in MS Office and different POS systems
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary
