About the Role
We are looking for an expert in process automation and market processes in the energy industry to elevate our operational processes. This is not a marketing or PR role.
Responsibilities
- Support the operational steering of our balancing group management for electricity and gas.
- Coordinate communication with market partners, service providers, and internal teams.
- Monitor clearing and market communication processes.
- Support the monitoring of forecast quality and balancing group deviations.
- Assist in creating evaluations and KPIs to support daily decisions.
- Monitor and coordinate clearing processes with grid operators.
- Identify, resolve, and reduce data discrepancies and balancing risks.
- Identify process improvement potentials.
- Collaborate with Data, Tech, and Operations teams on scalable solutions.
- Support the development and automation of balancing group management processes.
- Collaborate with system and service partners (e.g., Kraken).
- Contribute operational requirements to system development.
- Participate in energy industry projects related to balancing, market communication, and forecasting.
- Create transparency on balancing group risks, forecast quality, and data quality.
- Support the development of KPIs, monitoring dashboards, and reports.
Requirements
- Completed degree or comparable education with an energy industry, economic, or analytical focus.
- First experiences in the energy industry are advantageous.
- Knowledge of market communication (e.g., GPKE, GeLi Gas, or MaBiS) is a plus, but not a must.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style.
- Enjoy understanding and developing complex energy industry processes.
- High affinity for data, processes, and operational workflows.
- Confident communication in German and English.
- Enjoy working with diverse stakeholders.
