About the Role

We are looking for a curious, adaptive, and data-focused Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our regulatory reporting team. This role is key to understanding prudential regulatory reporting requirements, working on related projects and submissions, and collaborating across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the preparation, analysis, and submission of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., Capital, Liquidity).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory interpretations.
  • Assist the wider team in producing Monzo’s capital and liquidity regulatory reporting and disclosures (including Pillar 3).
  • Execute and improve controls for timely, accurate, and complete regulatory reporting.
  • Ensure high data quality through data profiling and issue investigation.
  • Use data visualization tools to build dashboards for sign-off and insights.
  • Partner with internal teams to inform business decisions and provide input on new product launches.
  • Design automation strategies to leverage technology and scale with the business.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of capital requirements, liquidity reports, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excited by data with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of coding languages (SQL is a bonus), or willingness to learn.
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Desire to automate or enhance recurring processes, leverage technology, and implement changes with IT and regulatory change teams.
