About the Role

WHITEvoid is an art and design studio creating innovative projects worldwide, including architecture, interior design, light installations, interactive exhibitions, and custom software solutions. We develop unique, ambitious, and complex concepts for various events and shows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Touch Designer based control software for the KINETIC LIGHTS event automation system.
• Adapt and expand software to new technologies and customer requests.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team.
• Perform on-site setup and operation of national and international installations and projects.
• Organize and manage software versions using Git.
• Work closely with Creative Directors to implement creative concepts using TouchDesigner.
• Contribute creative ideas and technical solutions throughout the development process.
• Create technical documentation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with TouchDesigner 099 and a portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Experience with object-oriented programming is desirable.
• Basic understanding of TouchDesigner's 3D, POP, and SOP workflows.
• Basic understanding of GLSL.
• Experience and knowledge related to interactive, electromechanical projects.
• Good understanding of sensors, actuators, and communication protocols.
• A creative mindset with the confidence to contribute ideas.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to balance creative vision with technical feasibility in a collaborative environment.
• High level of motivation and a hands-on mentality.
• Accurate, careful, independent, and responsible work ethic.
• Very good command of English.
