About the Role
Manages the overall operation of the Branch and the Branch personnel.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments in accordance with company policy.
- Assess risk of all financial transactions executed by Branch personnel.
- Collect data to analyze the present and future financial status of the organization.
- Directs, coordinates, and monitors activities to implement institution's policies, procedures, and practices.
- Direct activities involving implementation of establishment services and functions including collecting delinquent accounts, or opening savings accounts.
- Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities to ensure safekeeping.
- Contact customers and business, community, and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business.
- Compiles and reports financial data as required by organization and government regulations.
- Raise capital as needed by the organization.
- Analyzes investment options and makes recommendations to corporate officers for institution investment.
- Talk to customers to resolve account problems.
- Establish and maintains contact with banking-related industries such as insurance, real estate, and securities.
- Communicate with stockholders and other investors.
- Participate time to time with community organizations and in community projects.
- Take all types of loan applications and follow through to approval or rejections.
- Manages subordinate supervisor(s) who supervises employees in the bank's front office operations and teller areas.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
- Directly supervises non-supervisory employees.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements
- At least two to five years of supervisory experience in a financial institution or related industry.
