About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated line cook to join our growing team. Canterbury Woods provides older adults with the best possible living experience, offering a lifestyle that meets their needs and interests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus.
- Prepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus.
- Prepare and serve alternative menu items as needed.
- Assist in food preparation for special meals, parties, etc.
- Assist in serving meals, as necessary, and on a timely basis.
Requirements
- Must possess a culinary certificate or a degree from an accredited source.
- Must have excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work well with in a team environment.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Weekend availability is required.
