About the Role
The Lead Solutions Architect is responsible for defining and governing end-to-end solution architecture across Entegra platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise standards, and the Entegra technology roadmap. This role acts as the technical authority across programs, translating business capabilities into scalable, secure, and integrated solution designs while driving modernization, data enablement, and platform stability.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain target solution architecture for Entegra platforms aligned to enterprise architecture standards
- Ensure adherence to data-centric and API-centric architecture principles
- Establish and enforce architecture governance (design reviews, tollgates, standards, security compliance)
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and InfoSec for TAD / design approvals
- Own end-to-end solution design across Plan–Design–Build–Run lifecycle
- Translate business requirements into scalable architectures across Digital platforms, Data platforms, and Integration layers
- Provide oversight through build, testing, and deployment
- Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and compliance across platforms
- Align architecture to Entegra roadmap and portfolio strategy
- Lead modernization initiatives (cloud adoption, platform re-architecture, legacy transformation)
- Define and promote best practices for CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, automation, performance, scalability, and reliability
- Guide engineering teams on coding standards, reusable components, and frameworks
- Ensure solution designs support high availability, performance SLAs, and cost optimization
- Partner with business, IS&T, and vendors
- Act as technical authority across programs
- Communicate architecture decisions to exec stakeholders
- Identify architectural risks and define mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with security policies, data privacy regulations, and enterprise governance frameworks
- Support audit readiness and ensure no critical architecture gaps
Requirements
- Enterprise architecture across cloud (Azure), SaaS, and distributed systems
- Strong experience in API architecture, microservices, and integration platforms
- Strong experience in Data architecture (EDW, data lakes, MDM)
- Strong experience in Digital platforms (Experience with Drupal/Acquia preferred)
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native patterns
- 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years in solution/enterprise architecture roles
- Strong ability to translate business capabilities into technical solutions
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and global delivery models
- Excellent stakeholder communication (business + technical audiences)
- Experience with Supply chain / procurement platforms
- Exposure to data governance, analytics, and AI-driven insights platforms
- Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum Management Experience - 7 years
- Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years
