About the Role

TD Global Investment Solutions is seeking a VP for UK Consultant Relations and Sales to develop and deepen relationships with global and regional consultants' research teams, cultivate the consultant field network, and represent TDGIS to UK Institutional clients. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, collaborating with international teams, providing market feedback to senior management, and increasing brand awareness.

Responsibilities

Develop and deepen relationships with global and regional consultants' research teams.
Cultivate the consultant field network for major consultants.
Represent TDGIS and promote its investment capabilities across UK Institutional clients, including public and private pension funds, insurance firms, and UK intermediaries.
Identify new business opportunities in the UK based on a comprehensive understanding of TDGIS' investment capabilities.
Work in collaboration with consultant relations teams in Toronto and New York.
Understand evolving market themes and provide feedback and advice to senior management on product development and marketing.
Increase brand awareness of TDGIS and its capabilities by attending key industry events.

Requirements

Extensive experience working with Global and UK investment consultants.
Extensive experience working with Institutional and Wealth clients.
Passionate about understanding client/consultant investment needs and finding appropriate solutions.
Strong investment background.
Solid understanding of different asset classes, including Equities and Alternatives.
Ability to function with a very high degree of independence.
High level of organization, personal initiative, and resilience.
Good team behavior.
Strong influencing skills.
Ability to convey information clearly both verbally and in writing.
Energetic, entrepreneurial, self-starter with a proactive and hands-on approach.
Determination to achieve success.
Comfortable working in a small office environment with investment teams based in Canada and the US.
