About the Role
As an Engineering Manager in the Demand Division, you will lead two high-performing, cross-functional teams of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Owners. You will be responsible for team culture, individual growth, and the delivery of data products that empower Marketing teams to optimize spend, budget decisions, and customer retention.
Responsibilities
- Lead, shape, and grow two high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Manage disciplinary aspects, including hiring, onboarding, career development, and performance management.
- Ensure predictable and transparent delivery against the roadmap, focusing on time, quality, and budget.
- Proactively identify risks and remove blockers for the team.
- Enforce engineering policies, architectural guidelines, and technical standards.
- Promote code quality, documentation, maintainability, and security.
- Define team vision and mission in collaboration with Product Owners.
- Track and optimize delivery, quality, and team health metrics.
- Foster a transparent feedback culture and manage stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles managing cross-functional, international teams.
- Proven experience in Marketing measurement and steering.
- Background in a tech-related role such as Engineering, Data Science, or Product Ownership.
- Experience with agile practices.
- Experience measuring and communicating delivery metrics like cycle time and throughput.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Track record of driving AI fluency across engineering teams.
- Fluency in English.
