About the Role
This role involves independently performing service assignments on machines and industrial plants, analyzing technical faults directly at the customer's site, and ensuring complex systems in Germany and worldwide reliably resume production. An established company is expanding its service department and seeks creative and dedicated support for diverse projects with renowned industrial clients.
Responsibilities
- Independently travel to customers and analyze technical faults on machines and industrial plants.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical systems, automation, and drive technology.
- Commission machines and plants, monitor their operation, and ensure sustainable fault resolution.
- Carry out modifications and adjustments to control cabinets and support electrical installations.
- Coordinate assembly and service assignments, working closely with project management, service, and customers.
- Undertake project-related field assignments domestically and internationally.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in an electrical engineering field (e.g., Electronics Technician for Plant Engineering, Electronics Technician for Automation Technology) or equivalent qualification.
- Practical experience in service, customer service, or field service for machinery, industrial, or process plants.
- Proficiency with electrical systems, control cabinets, automation, and drive technology, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and fault resolution.
- Experience in control cabinet construction, modifications, and adjustments to control cabinets.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams.
- Willingness to travel for service assignments, including internationally.
- Possession of a Class B driver's license.
