About the Role
TAO Solutions is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Software Developer to join our Software Development team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining securitization and structured finance technologies, emphasizing transparency, flexibility, automation, and analytical rigor.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain stored procedures and reports using SQL Server and Visual Studio.
- Lead query optimization and database performance improvements.
- Lead database administration tasks including setup, configuration, and migrations.
- Translate functional specifications into technical designs.
- Write clean, reliable, well-architected, and maintainable code.
- Work closely with QA to ensure successful integration testing.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Provide support to internal staff and clients.
- Develop enterprise applications using modern technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in data-driven software development and/or server reporting development.
- Advanced hands-on experience with MS-SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
- Proven experience with Power BI.
- Depth of knowledge within SQL Server Reporting Services, BOLD Reports, or other reporting tools.
- Knowledge of software development principles and the software development life cycle.
- Experience with Visual Studio, Git, or other version control tools from school projects or internships.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in financial services or fintech environments is a strong asset.
- Ability to speak to and use modern AI-driven tools and methodologies is a strong asset.
