About the Role
The Senior Project Engineer will support projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, providing security planning and design advice to a variety of clients. You will be involved in all aspects of project delivery for security consultancy projects, including threat and risk assessment, security planning, and physical and electronic security design. This includes delivering to clients' requirements, managing professional and technical advice within programme, budget, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide security design advice to clients at all stages of their project or programme life cycle.
- Carry out concept, outline, scheme, and detailed designs for electronic security systems.
- Design works for physical security measures against manual forced entry.
- Provide contract and tender documentation, analyze tenders, and award contracts.
- Carry out security surveys of existing solutions and provide reports with upgrade recommendations and budgetary costings.
- Monitor works, witness testing and commissioning, and provide close-out documentation.
- Liaise with colleagues, clients, suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage and deliver projects.
- Attend appropriate training seminars and conferences to develop and maintain expertise in security engineering.
Requirements
- 5-10 years' experience in a relevant role.
- Relevant experience in the design of physical security solutions.
- Ability to obtain United Kingdom security vetting clearance.
- Eligibility requirements depend on individual circumstances.
