About the Role

This role is a launchpad for a darts enthusiast who understands social media dynamics, fan culture, and content creation. You will work on major darts accounts, learn from experienced professionals, and influence the social media presence of darts.

Responsibilities

  • Write and post social content, including captions and copy tailored for darts, across multiple platforms daily.
  • Curate content, identify key moments, spot trends, and contribute ideas to the team.
  • Manage online communities by engaging with fans and monitoring discussions about darts.
  • Collaborate with clients through regular check-ins to ensure satisfaction and understand their needs.
  • Write clear and actionable briefs for the creative team (design and motion).
  • Activate content creation at live events and tournaments.
  • Collaborate with strategy, creative, and insights teams to ensure alignment.
  • Stay updated on new platforms, trends, and format changes.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of darts, including players, lore, and storylines.
  • Ability to translate fan interests into effective content.
  • Proficiency in understanding social media platforms and what content performs well.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, capable of interacting with clients and teammates.
  • Proactive approach to identifying problems, generating ideas, and taking action.
  • Experience in a sports or social media agency is preferred, but strong potential may be considered.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to producing meaningful work and passion for sport's role in culture.
