About the Role
Partner closely with Operations and Finance to provide meaningful financial insights, support business performance, and drive operational excellence at the Debrecen site, supporting the customer BMW.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial and business reports for the business unit.
- Analyze financial performance, budget variances, and forecasts.
- Present Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) to key stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze operational KPIs, including Eagle and GAP analysis.
- Partner with Operations and Regional Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Support Business Unit Managers by reviewing financial performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with year-end statutory reporting.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and business projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance or Controlling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both Hungarian and English.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong business acumen with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
- Experience with SAP.
- Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP reporting.
- Experience within Contract Logistics.
- German language skills.
