About the Role
Silver Tree Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Director for Amherst Seniors Apartments, a 150-unit senior community. The role involves overseeing property operations, including administration, maintenance, leasing, resident relations, and staff management, under the guidance of the Community Director.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for all phases of property operation, including general administration and maintenance, under the direction of the Community Director.
- Assist in the preparation of leases and other management forms.
- Process applications for residency, verification, move-in, and re-certification.
- Post collections to the computerized property management system and ensure up-to-date data entry.
- Assist in hiring, managing, and training staff.
- Negotiate contracts with outside vendors.
- Manage HUD compliance at all levels of property operation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in an affordable community with knowledge of current HUD guidelines is a plus.
- Accomplished interpersonal skills; capable of dealing effectively with employees, residents, vendors and co-workers.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
