About the Role

Nurses play an integral part in Change Grow Lives' mission to help people change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you would offer specialist clinical interventions to people who use our services. This role involves supporting and engaging people in drug and alcohol treatment services, with opportunities to influence practice, lead confidently, and make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership across the service working closely with the senior leadership team.
Oversee high-quality health assessments, BBV interventions, wound care, and harm-reduction delivery.
Drive excellent standards in safety, governance, and clinical compliance.
Support training and development of the nursing and wider operational teams.
Help shape and innovate our local clinical model.
Build strong relationships with our Gateshead partnerships.
Be a visible and approachable leader for staff and service users.

Requirements

A strong clinical leader who can confidently guide, support, and motivate the nursing team.
Ability to set the tone for high clinical standards and safe, evidence-based practice.
Lead by example, offering clear direction, constructive feedback, and encouragement.
Create a positive, supportive environment where nurses can grow, develop, and deliver excellent care.
Passionate about health promotion, harm reduction, and inclusion.
Champion safe, accessible, and non-judgemental care for everyone supported.
Promote practical harm-reduction approaches.
