About the Role
This role sits within the data engineering team, supporting the development and operation of the Analytic Data Platform (ADP). You will design, build, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines to ensure data is reliable, scalable, and accessible for analytics across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and release robust data pipelines and integrations.
- Manage day-to-day operations of data pipelines, including performance monitoring and incident response.
- Resolve data-quality issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Source, prepare, and transform raw data from cloud and on-premises systems.
- Apply analytical engineering principles to model, transform, and document data.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and business SMEs to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Develop reusable design patterns, automated tests, and deployment processes.
- Apply AI tools to improve engineering efficiency and code quality within governance standards.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to understand data usage for decision-making.
Requirements
- Around 3–4 years of experience in data engineering.
- Strong foundation in designing, building, testing, and releasing data pipelines.
- Experience working with modern data stacks and cloud-based environments.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience with data modelling, orchestration, transformation, and deployment processes.
- Structured, quality-first mindset with a focus on testing and documentation.
- Ability to handle personal or confidential data securely.
- Proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities.
