Responsibilities

  • Establish and monetize deep strategic relationships with specialized roles—including Head Traders, Risk Directors, and Procurement leads—to embed solutions directly into corporate workflows.
  • Lead complex enterprise deals from initial qualification through custom proposals, cross-functional orchestration with internal technical experts, commercial negotiation, and final legal/MSA execution.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of strategic business development experience with a documented history of meeting and exceeding multimillion-dollar quotas and revenue targets.
  • Demonstrate deep experience working with energy market data vendors, price reporting agencies, commodity software providers, or the commercial divisions of major energy firms.
  • Understand how market benchmarks, data sets, APIs, and analytic solutions integrate seamlessly into active trading, optimization, and risk management workflows.
  • Exhibit advanced value-based selling skills, excellent presentation abilities, and the resilience needed to confidently navigate cold outreach, overcome rejection, and engage C-suite decision-makers.
