About the Role
The Program Director/Senior Director role is integral to BCG's global finance function, focusing on designing, developing, and executing world-class evaluation, development, compensation, and equity programs for Managing Directors and Partners (MDPs). This highly visible position acts as a trusted advisor, ensuring robust and transparent reward systems that incentivize MDPs to grow and shape the business, ultimately benefiting clients, people, and BCG's purpose of unlocking potential.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop MDP compensation and equity country programs.
- Support individual MDPs in understanding their local compensation and equity value and its relation to performance.
- Design and maintain country compensation and equity programs by collaborating with functional experts on local tax law, partnership concepts, labor laws, and BCG global principles.
- Analyze the overall BCG economic model to assess impacts on MDP compensation and equity programs.
- Develop clear and concise communications for MDPs and leadership regarding issues, options, and resolutions.
- Support MDPs with equity purchases and sales, explaining cash and tax implications.
- Oversee support for MDP transfers, departures, and lateral hires.
- Partner with external advisors and local teams on compliance management.
- Collaborate with controllers and global finance functions to ensure appropriate plan implementation and execution.
- Conduct regular reviews of local MDP programs, assessing risk tolerance and leveraging tax and legal functions.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain availability to work in the East Coast time zone pattern for most working days.

- 15+ years of relevant work experience.
- Significant experience working with senior teams (e.g., MDP, Managing Directors, CEOs), preferably in a dynamic project-based work environment.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration experience.
- Evidence of building strong and long-term networks with colleagues across all levels in multinational environments.
- Strong understanding of US individual and partnership taxation or employment law.

Salary/Compensations
- Base salary range for this role in Boston is $195,000-$227,500.
- Bonus of up to 45%
- Generous retirement contribution that starts at 10%
