About the Role

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the Marine SBU strategy, ensuring effective project management and risk mitigation for optimal project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project finances and manage project-related risks.
  • Identify and escalate project delivery risks and manage project reporting.
  • Manage project schedules and resources, defining and managing interfaces between activities.
  • De-risk critical path activities and ensure overall timescales are met.
  • Lead project governance structures to promote streamlined project delivery and adherence to best practices.
  • Uphold contract compliance, health and safety standards, and evidence-based assessments.
  • Drive sustainability practices into project execution.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in project management, preferably within the renewable energy or marine sector.
  • Adept at developing and managing project scopes and schedules.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in project financial management, budgeting, and financial risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with contracting processes and adherence to contract compliance protocols.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and evidence assessment for health and safety.
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles and their integration into project management practices.
