Responsibilities

  • Carrying out regular floor walks.
  • Completing maintenance tasks.
  • Preparing meeting rooms.
  • Managing workplace assessments to recommend the right equipment to support colleague wellbeing.
  • Serving as a lead fire marshal, ensuring clear, confident and efficient evacuation procedures.
  • Supporting colleagues through our internal helpdesk by resolving queries related to facilities, equipment, access and safety.
  • Escalating issues where needed.
  • Actively identifying and addressing potential risks to prevent problems before they arise.

Requirements

  • Experience of general building maintenance including manual handling, heating controls and basic routine repair work.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of buildings, including health and safety.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced and customer-facing role.
  • Clear communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience in using systems such as a helpdesk.
  • Knowledge of fire evacuation procedures and fire marshal duties.
