About the Role

The Manager, Consulting II leads delivery execution and operational governance for HPE Networking Professional Services engagements, supporting customers across Aruba and Juniper networking environments. This role is responsible for managing a team of consulting and delivery professionals, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across complex, multi-vendor infrastructures, and driving customer satisfaction through strong governance, escalation leadership, and executive-level communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Networking Professional Services engagements across Aruba (CX switching, WLAN, ClearPass, SD-Branch) and Juniper (EX/QFX/MX, Mist AI, SRX, SD-WAN) environments.
  • Ensure structured delivery governance including planning, execution tracking, milestone management, and service acceptance.
  • Drive adoption of standardized delivery frameworks, tools, and reporting across all engagements.
  • Maintain visibility and control across delivery health, proactively identifying risks and driving mitigation actions.
  • Act as the primary delivery leader for customer engagements, building trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Manage communications across complex stakeholder environments, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment.
  • Lead customer governance forums (weekly, monthly, executive reviews) with clear, data-driven insights.
  • Support strategic account growth by aligning delivery outcomes with customer business objectives.
  • Own critical escalations, service disruptions, and delivery challenges across Aruba and Juniper solutions.
  • Lead structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate closely with support, engineering, and product teams to drive timely resolution of issues.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of consultants, architects, and/or delivery managers.
  • Set clear objectives and performance expectations aligned with customer outcomes and delivery excellence.
  • Drive capability development across both Aruba and Juniper technologies, promoting cross-skilling and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure optimal resource allocation and capacity planning across customer engagements.
  • Ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Manage utilization, revenue realization, and margin protection through strong delivery discipline.
  • Support contract execution, change management, and services attach opportunities.
  • Identify recurring delivery challenges and implement process improvements.
  • Drive standardization of delivery practices across multi-vendor environments.
  • Contribute to service innovation and enhancement of Professional Services offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing Professional Services delivery and/or consulting teams in enterprise networking environments.
  • Strong understanding of multi-vendor networking architectures, including: Aruba: switching, wireless, NAC (ClearPass), SD-Branch Juniper: routing (MX), switching (EX/QFX), security (SRX), Mist AI-driven networking
  • Experience managing complex customer engagements and escalations.
  • Demonstrated ability to run delivery governance (RAID, reporting, executive communication).
  • People management experience, including coaching and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience working in or with HPE Aruba Networking and/or Juniper Networks ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven networking (e.g., Aruba Central, Juniper Mist).
  • Understanding of managed services and support integration models.
