About the Role
Private Capital Markets (PCM) is part of the Global Equity Capital Markets & Solutions platform, focused on advising and raising capital for private companies globally. The team collaborates with various Deutsche Bank groups to support disruptive companies throughout their lifecycle. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the PCM business, focusing on origination and execution of equity and equity-linked financings for private companies, particularly high-growth technology firms and structured equity solutions for mature businesses. Associates are expected to contribute to pitch development and transaction execution, gaining significant responsibility and client exposure.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution, coordinating complex transaction processes and driving workstreams across internal and external stakeholders.
- Support origination by identifying high-conviction opportunities and building a differentiated investor and management team network.
- Utilize robust financial models for rigorous analysis and insight, including evaluation of investment terms.
- Lead the production of high-impact marketing materials and transaction documentation tailored for senior client engagement and live processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in venture capital / private equity, technology, media & telecommunications corporate finance or Mergers & Acquisitions is advantageous, but not essential.
- Demonstrated track record in transaction execution and strong project management capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure, coordinating large, cross-functional teams to deliver pitches and execute transactions.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skillset, with advanced financial modelling capabilities.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Demonstrated interest in new industries, technology trends and the broader venture capital and emerging economy ecosystem.
