About the Role

Global Payments is seeking an AI & Automation Architect to lead the future of legal technology. This role combines innovation, automation, and artificial intelligence to transform how Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams operate, driving efficiency, governance, and better business outcomes. You will shape how technology supports the business today while building solutions for tomorrow.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, architecture, and continuous evolution of the legal technology ecosystem, ensuring platforms remain scalable, connected, and future-ready.
• Drive the optimization of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, designing automated workflows, integrations, and solutions.
• Lead the evaluation, design, and deployment of AI and automation capabilities to transform Legal, Risk, and Compliance processes.
• Partner with stakeholders across Legal, Technology, and the wider business to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions.
• Establish best practices, governance standards, and controls for data integrity, compliance, system performance, and sustainability.
• Deliver reporting, analytics, and insights to increase visibility and support executive decision-making.

Requirements

• Significant experience in legal operations, legal technology, or legal consulting, with a strong focus on systems, automation, and digital transformation.
• Deep expertise with Contract Lifecycle Management platforms and end-to-end contracting workflows.
• Strong Salesforce architecture and integration experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI, workflow automation, and emerging technology solutions.
• Working knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI.
• Strong analytical, process-mapping, and solution documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-driven and innovative mindset, with the ability to lead complex initiatives independently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment.
