About the Role

The APAC Commercial Capabilities Lead directs Managers and/or senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, accountable for career development, coaching, and feedback. This role contributes to business objectives by enhancing Commercial Excellence, Pricing & Contracting strategy, and coordinating operational excellence to meet sales goals. The lead drives business growth by improving processes, implementing continuous improvement and automation, generating performance metrics, and disseminating information that promotes the organization and its offerings. Maintains extensive knowledge of the DPS portfolio, troubleshooting, and industry best practices to assess customer needs and recommend strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Directs Managers and/or senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, accountable for career development conversations and regular coaching and feedback.
  • Acts as a key partner to the APAC Leadership Team, providing strategic decision-making support and coaching the Commercial Capability organization.
  • Delivers the CommEx, Pricing & Contracting/Tendering vision and strategy for the commercial organization by understanding customer needs and creating an unparalleled sales experience.
  • Establishes APAC pricing strategy, including floor price frameworks and compliance governance, implemented through local operational execution.
  • Participates in the design of strategic sales plans derived from corporate goals and customer touchpoints, leveraging consumer data and customer insights.
  • Designs key performance indicators to measure the performance of Commex, Pricing & Contracting/Tendering departments and benchmark capabilities.
  • Develops relationships with leaders and stakeholders to understand consumer priorities, identify capability gaps, conduct needs assessments, and translate needs into targeted solutions.
  • Manages operational aspects of teams, including budget, performance, and compliance, and implements workforce and succession plans.
  • Proactively creates a purpose-driven environment by aligning Credo and Leadership Imperatives with team and enterprise strategies and goals.
