About the Role
Plan strategic and operational communication measures for classic media such as audio, out-of-home, and print. Monitor the implementation of media insertion plans, analyze and optimize ongoing campaigns, and derive actionable recommendations for clients. Plan across channels, including radio, podcasts, music streaming, newspapers, magazines, and (D)OOH, both locally and nationally. Create overviews with all media-relevant information for clients, internal purchasing, and external media partners. Monitor market and technology trends, including new data and AI possibilities, and actively drive these topics within the team.
Responsibilities
- Planning strategic and operational communication measures for classic media such as audio, out-of-home, and print.
- Monitoring the implementation of media insertion plans.
- Analyzing and continuously optimizing ongoing campaigns and deriving corresponding recommendations for action for clients.
- Cross-channel planning: from radio, podcasts, and music streaming to daily newspapers and consumer magazines to (D)OOH – both locally and nationally.
- Creating overviews with all media-relevant information for clients, internal purchasing, and external media partners.
- Monitoring market and technology trends – including new data and AI possibilities – and actively driving these topics within the team.
Requirements
- Professional experience in operational media planning for classic media, ideally from an agency, media house, or marketer environment.
- Focus on the audio sector – knowledge of relevant marketer and broadcaster landscapes and how to use them effectively.
- Experience with AI-supported tools, especially LLM applications, and their targeted use to make daily work processes more efficient.
- Understanding of media planning in the overall context: campaign goals, budget control, economic efficiency, and secure communication with all trades and clients.
- Structured, independent work with a high affinity for numbers and data.
- Proactive contribution to team advancement.
- Very good German language skills.
