About the Role

The Techno-Functional Consultant will be instrumental in a regulatory transformation initiative focused on standardizing, automating, and streamlining finance and regulatory reporting across multiple accounting frameworks (US GAAP, Local GAAP, IFRS). This role ensures accurate and compliant calculation of key metrics like RWA, PD, EAD, and SA-CCR, bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions for scalable and auditable reporting.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business and regulatory requirements from Finance, Risk, and Product SMEs.
Interpret requirements for US GAAP, IFRS, Local GAAP reporting, regulatory frameworks (Capital, Liquidity, RWA), and SA-CCR exposure calculations.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical design inputs.
Collaborate with application owners to design scalable data flows and reporting architectures.
Contribute to data mapping, transformation logic, ledger reconciliation design, and calculation engines for RWA and SA-CCR.
Support both tactical (short-term) and strategic (long-term) solution delivery.
Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams.
Coordinate with Finance, Risk, Product, and Technology stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs.
Support SIT/UAT planning and execution, including defect management and resolution.
Validate outputs for regulatory reports, accounting consistency, and RWA/SA-CCR accuracy.

Requirements

Experience in delivering regulatory transformation initiatives.
Understanding of finance and regulatory reporting across US GAAP, Local GAAP, and IFRS.
Knowledge of Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), PD, EAD, and SA-CCR metrics calculation.
Ability to bridge business and technology domains.
Experience in data mapping and transformation logic.
Experience with ledger and sub-ledger reconciliation design.
Experience with calculation engines for RWA and SA-CCR.
Experience in stakeholder management.
Experience in SIT/UAT planning and execution.
Experience in defect management and resolution.
Experience validating regulatory reports and accounting consistency.
Experience ensuring RWA and SA-CCR accuracy.
