About the Role

As Director of Product Marketing, you will build compelling narratives that communicate Perk's value proposition, run the go-to-market engine to convert product investment into commercial outcomes, and establish a competitive intelligence function. Your work will influence deal wins and future product development. This senior leadership role is for individuals with experience in building and leading product marketing in high-growth B2B SaaS, owning GTM for complex software products, and a proven track record of achieving commercial success. You understand the finance buyer, can create strong positioning against competitors, and possess a clear vision of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Own the platform narrative, including core messaging architecture, positioning against alternatives, and the 'why Perk' story across all customer touchpoints.
  • Manage the end-to-end GTM strategy for new products and major launches, aiming for predictable, commercially focused execution that enhances product adoption and reduces risk.
  • Build a best-in-class market and competitive intelligence capability, including competitive analysis, win/loss tracking, customer research, and market signals to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Partner with Revenue leadership and sales enablement to improve win rates, platform attach, sales confidence, and launch success.
  • Lead and develop the PMM team, establishing operating rhythms, quality standards for scalability, and positioning PMM as a strategic partner.
  • Shape the future of the PMM function as Perk continues to grow.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in B2B SaaS with a proven track record of building positioning that gains internal trust and external validation.
  • Ability to build differentiated product positioning and distill complex platforms into clear stories for senior finance buyers.
  • Deep understanding of buyers, markets, and competitive landscapes, with a desire to be the subject matter expert.
  • Commercial mindset with data-driven decision-making capabilities, including building repeatable operating models and influencing product roadmap priorities.
  • High level of influence and strong communication skills, capable of building alignment across Product, Revenue, and Marketing.
  • Commitment to AI-first operations, using AI to enhance research, analysis, and output quality.
  • Ability to think critically about AI's role in work, verifying outputs and applying own expertise.
