About the Role
Join Merlin Magic Making, the creative heart of Merlin, to help transform creative vision into innovative, interactive experiences across Merlin's global portfolio of attractions. This role bridges creative, design, and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery of immersive experiences from concept to installation, focusing on intuitive, story-led, guest-friendly interactions.
Responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between creative, design, and engineering teams.
- Ensure seamless delivery of immersive experiences from concept through to installation.
- Manage technical planning and system design.
- Oversee stakeholder management and vendor coordination.
- Work across digital content, AV systems, lighting, control systems, interactive technologies, and physical integrations.
- Ensure experiences are delivered to the highest standards of quality, reliability, and guest engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical production, AV integration, interactive experiences, or a related field within themed entertainment, museums, exhibitions, or live experiences.
- Experience working across creative, technical, and engineering teams, translating concepts into delivered solutions.
- Strong understanding of AV systems, control systems, interactive technologies, and hardware/software integration within physical environments.
- Experience managing external vendors and specialist partners to deliver complex projects from concept through installation and handover.
- Strong project planning skills, including managing budgets, schedules, risks, and quality standards.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across disciplines.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong technical troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering reliable, guest-focused experiences.
