About the Role
As a Data Architect at Pernod Ricard, you will be a permanent member of the Data Architecture Chapter, integrated into various data product squads. Your mission is to ensure data architecture designs meet stakeholder needs and product visions, maintaining an aligned architecture strategy across the organization. Your scope includes data platform components, security, data flows, and data modeling, while also shaping Global Architecture guidelines and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Build data architecture frameworks in compliance with global standards.
- Oversee continuous improvement of defined frameworks to meet business needs and ensure data accuracy & accessibility.
- Contribute to the identification of significant data assets and translate business requirements into data products.
- Identify and assess potential impacts/opportunities of product choices from a data architecture standpoint.
- Coordinate with other Data/Tech Architects to ensure consistency of architecture decisions.
- Promote global enterprise data strategy within the squad.
- Provide data architecture best practices and introduce new ways of thinking around data.
- Participate in transversal data architecture initiatives and continuously develop skills.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data architecture.
- Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical modeling.
- Ability to collaborate with an understanding of architecture/integration concepts & principles.
- Ability to define the value of the data asset to the enterprise.
- Experience in advanced programming and administering databases.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to talk with both technical & non-technical stakeholders.
- Mastery of data governance & security guidelines.
- Agile ways of working (collaboration, CD/CI...).
