About the Role

As a Field Application Engineer, you will collaborate with customers and OEMs to drive the fab introduction and optimization of semiconductor equipment, including MultiSEM. Through hands-on work in cleanrooms and project management, you will be responsible for problem-solving and customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve MultiSEM issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Continuously accumulate and update MultiSEM knowledge.
  • Develop functions and applications according to customer needs.
  • Lead support for MultiSEM utilization.
  • Promote collaboration between customers, OEMs, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Technical degree in Engineering/Science (Bachelor's or higher) or equivalent practical experience of 10+ years.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Application Engineer/Process Engineer in the semiconductor industry.
  • Semiconductor project management experience, with the ability to drive teams towards high goals and short deadlines.
  • Knowledge and experience with electron microscopes, especially SEM.
  • Knowledge and experience with semiconductor manufacturing technology.
  • Experience operating under FAB cleanroom protocols.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Advanced experimental skills and hands-on orientation, involving complex experimental setups.
  • High level of communication skills in both spoken and written English and Japanese.
  • Advanced mathematical skills.

Salary/Compensations

  • ¥5,500,000 - ¥9,000,000 (including bonuses and various allowances, depending on skills and experience)
  • Monthly salary: ¥340,000 - ¥600,000
