About the Role
This position leads the Growth & Operations (G&O) function within Strategic Partnerships and Affiliates (SPA). You will be responsible for building and running the operational backbone of SPA, enabling the broader organization to accelerate growth and scale efficiently. You will work cross-functionally to translate strategy into execution, improve operational efficiency, and deliver insights and programs that drive stronger partner outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Build systems that encourage talent growth, develop successors, and share knowledge.
- Create talent pipelines and place individuals in roles supporting their development.
- Model and promote a "one team" culture, handling conflict openly and encouraging collaboration.
- Anticipate future business needs and develop rationale for strategic investments.
- Lead the development of alternative approaches, assess viability with analytics, and present business cases.
- Define and evolve the G&O strategy in alignment with SPA’s overall goals.
- Own the annual and multi-year planning cycle for SPA, including initiative sizing, business casing, prioritization, and trade-off decisions.
- Lead the go-to-market function to bring SPA’s strategy and new product offerings to market.
- Lead the growth and partner marketing function, ensuring strategies meet organizational objectives.
- Optimize workflows, boost efficiencies, and strive for operational excellence and scalability.
- Drive complex, multi-workstream initiatives from design through execution.
- Develop and maintain operating rhythms, governance frameworks, and delivery processes.
- Oversee SPA’s revenue analytics capability, transforming performance data into actionable insights.
- Champion a data-first culture and ensure leaders have necessary metrics, models, and tools.
- Steer and influence SPA’s product decisions by developing areas of expertise.
- Lead a centralized vendor management capability, overseeing outsourced services.
- Identify staffing and resourcing needs and plan financial and material resources.
- Develop policies and procedures to increase resource utilization efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coach leaders on building strong relationships across the business and with industry partners.
- Communicate department strategy, vision, and mission to gain buy-in and drive clarity.
Requirements
- 16+ years of experience for Bachelor's degree holders.
- 14+ years of experience for Master's degree holders.
- 7+ years of people management experience.
- Effective leadership coach, capable of developing strong leaders and diverse teams.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven track record of building and scaling operations, go-to-market, and analytics functions in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience communicating complex information to senior leaders.
- Ability to see the ‘big picture’ and effectively prioritize and drive multiple projects.
- Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
- Team player who actively promotes and encourages diversity of thought.
