About the Role

This role is suitable for individuals with a technical background in electrical engineering, interested in working with industrial equipment at the DP World CSCT terminal in Agigea. The position is for a fixed term of 12 months with a full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:00 work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for electrical maintenance and repair activities of machinery and equipment, adhering to safety procedures and standards.
  • Analyze risks associated with activities and propose control measures, escalating situations beyond the scope of competence.
  • Perform periodic inspections according to the maintenance plan and tasks assigned by the Mechanical Workshop Manager / Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer.
  • Identify and diagnose electrical faults, determine causes, and communicate them to superiors.
  • Interpret error codes and perform necessary repair work.
  • Collect and record technical data and equipment performance indicators.
  • Utilize technical documentation and correctly complete work orders (WO).
  • Plan interventions, including equipment identification and material needs management.
  • Execute maintenance and repair work to keep equipment in optimal operating condition.
  • Verify the quality of work, perform technological tests, and report activity completion.
  • Comply with technical regulations, internal procedures, and ISCIR prescriptions, including activities related to authorizations and received instructions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with a baccalaureate in electrical profile is mandatory.
  • A bachelor's degree in relevant technical fields (e.g., electrical engineering, power engineering, electronics, automation, mechatronics, or related specializations) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with industrial equipment.
  • Relevant experience gained during higher education through practical training, internships, or other technical activities may be considered for entry-level candidates.
  • Good ability to read, understand, and interpret error codes, as well as analyze electrical diagrams and related technical documentation.
  • Intermediate English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Valid Category B driver's license.
