About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our kitchen team, contributing to our mission of serving authentic Mexican cuisine made with high-quality, heritage ingredients. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of food quality and team leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Run all sections of the kitchen including the pass when needed
- Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, and allergens
- Ensure adherence to all Food Safety and hygiene standards
- Manage ordering, wastage, and stock levels
- Oversee Chef rotas
- Train and lead a team of junior chefs
- Foster a strong team ethic and respectful work environment
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a similar role within a high-volume, quality-led restaurant kitchen
- Good understanding of flavor balance
- Passion for food and professional development
- Love for the hospitality industry, Mexican food, and culture
- Good level of English language proficiency
