About the Role
We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our hardware team to support the development of autonomous construction robots. You will collaborate with mechatronics, hardware, and software teams to prototype, test, and refine electronic systems, including motor control, power, sensing, and communications.
Responsibilities
- Support prototyping and development of electronic systems for autonomous construction robots.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to build and test early-stage hardware.
- Perform electronics testing and debugging to validate designs and remediate issues.
- Iterate on prototypes by incorporating test results into design revisions.
- Participate in on-site field trials and deployments to instrument systems and capture performance data.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the robot fleet to ensure operational readiness.
- Perform light electronics assembly and wiring tasks.
- Execute PCB design and PCBA preparation for prototype and production boards.
Requirements
- BSc, MBO, HBO, or equivalent degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a relevant technical field.
- Solid foundation in electronics fundamentals with hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with prototyping and testing circuits.
- Proficiency in soldering, wiring, and assembling test setups.
- Ability to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and lab power supplies for debugging.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Eagerness to learn in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
